Designed all mechanical drives from the plate cylinder to the lower folder for the Polyman commercial printing press. Drives include unit phasing, worm gear gearbox, drop down drive from units to folder and lower folder to RTF.Designed and managed retrofit for dampening units for Cartoman printing units, saving the company and the customers a great deal of money and time getting their presses up and runningDesigned new knife boxes for the 12 - 3:2 folders at the Toronto Star to increase the length of the short copy and shorten the length of the long copy while running collect to satisfy the customer and ensure customer paid final payment of $2,000,000.Headed up design team for the Flexoman low profile printing unit design for the Charlotte, NC project. Task consisted of designing a 5, 4, 3, and 2-color modular printing units for two new 8-unit press lines and 4-5 color slip in units for two existing press lines at the Charlotte Observer. Project Value: $30,000,000.Vancouver, BC Project: Order consisted of 18 tower printing units, 4 folders and 26 reel stands from MAN parent company in Augsburg, Germany. Worked closely with the customer and German counterparts to resolve engineering issues and press interface for the customer's new building. Spent considerable amount of time working with the customer's building design team to create AutoCad drawing for 7 engineering personal on the US side to complete the US portion of engineering required. Worked out specs and safety code requirements for the dust extraction system, dampening water supply system and ink supply systems (tanks, pumps, piping). TENSOR GROUP, INC

Singapore Goss Metro Newspaper Press. Completed all drawings for the press reconfiguration and all installation drawings for platforms, connecting parts etc.
ALCOA PACKAGING MACHINERY
Redesigned can register system to position can label to embossing dies. Spent 2 1/2 years on the design of a 12oz. can process printer.
GUNTHER INTERNATIONAL
Assembled all Solid Edge models and created assembly drawings for the vacuum and friction paper feeders along with numerous design changes.

Design for addition of angle bar section to their existing press line. Drag roll drive change from mechanical to servomotor.
